Cairns Camping Specialists has been helping locals and visitors get into our great outdoors for almost 40 years. We are a locally owned, family-operated family independant business that loves spending time in the Australian Bush.
We have you covered when it comes to tents, shelters & gazebos and all your camping needs. We stock a huge range of tarps, poles & pegs and all you need for a comfy nights sleep. From gas refills to portable stoves to the kitchen sink, we've got everything you need to make your camping and caravanning trips a success.
We've got all the big brands and quite a few of the smaller ones as well. Our major suppliers include OZtrail, Primus, Outdoor Connection, and we also are stockists for Ozpig, LED Lenser, Quickcatch Lures, and many more.

Delivery Information
Delivery Method
We use a range of couriers as well as Australia Post. Once an order has been dispatched, customers will receive an email with their tracking number.
Unfortunately, we do not currently ship to areas outside Australia.
How do I know what it will cost?
Your delivery cost will vary depending on the size, weight and delivery location. Shipping is calculated at check-out. All prices are in Australian Dollars and are payable in addition to the product price.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Orders will take between 2-10 business days to arrive, depending on the destination and shipping methods.
Delivery Acceptance
As a signature is required upon receipt, products will not be delivered to un-attended addresses. If no-one is available to sign for any parcel, a card will be left and the parcel will be re-routed to the nearest collection depot.
Remote Deliveries
We are happy to liase with you to arrange delivery to remote areas (i.e. via barge). Please contact us directly to organise.
Returns & Exchanges
Faulty Goods
We will, as per Australian Consumer Law, offer you a replacement, credit or refund where products have major failure, such as:
- When it is faulty
- Wrongly described
- Different from a sample shown to you; or
- Does not do what it is supposed to do
We will require a copy of your receipt or other proof of purchase to facilitate the return.
Change of Mind
Whilst we are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind, we want you to be satisfied with our goods and services . If you wish to return and item because you have changed your mind, Cairns Camping Specialists will offer you an exchange or refund provided that:
- you return the item within 30 days of purchase;
- You produce your original Cairns Camping Specialist register receipt, online tax invoice or other adequate proof of purchase at the time you return the item;
- The item must not have been used or damaged in any way including that;
- It is in its original packaging, including instruction manuals and all accessories
- It is unworn, unopened, unused and in its original condition
- The product is not one on which a change of mind return is not available
Cairns Camping Specialists will not accept the return of the following items under the change of mind returns policy under any circumstance.
- Ropes & cords
- Carabineers and connectors
- Airbeds
- Special customer orders
- Clearance items
- Gift Cards
Please note for change of mind returns, the purchaser is responsible for all return and delivery costs associated with the exchange.
